New York Canal

This is one of the things I look for every year. The runoff from the snowpack into the New York Canal. Most of this is meant for the farmers in Canyon County, but the laterals will fill soon, and everyone with irrigation systems will be applying this to their gardens and lawns.

Lady Party

The ladies are organized today. Ready to pedal around downtown, and have fun. I love the ladies. They take care of each other. They care for each other. 

The Bro get together is a thinly veiled contest. A beat down thinly veiled. 

The ladies may be competitive too, but perhaps their competition is invisible to me, because I'm not one of them.

Weekend Coming

Even though it seems like the weekend started yesterday, it real now. I'm at the office, and the 12 on the patio with his Star Spangled Banner board shorts can't even harsh my vibe. Although, they try. 

Going to go down and the tour-de-fats block party stuff in a few minutes. 

Hillstomp at FountainFest

Sometimes the greatest stuff happens, and you just take it for granted. Two man duo Hillstomp kicks up a wonderful ruckus. Old timey without being jokey. People are dancing. That's not a bad thing is it? There are people enjoying a good band. You're going to complain about that? 

Ok. You are. Whatever. 

Scenic Wide Spot

It's a SE Boise thing. The NY Canal, the trees, the future site of a Horsey State land grab?

Maybe not in our lifetime. But the viewpoint is good for minutes of spectating. Just don't get run over by a marauding bicycle. 

Hi, Aldi. How You?

Jaialdi is happening in Boise, and Basque people from all over the world are here, wandering around, spending money, and having a good time. And they know how to have a good time. 

Seriously, I have been out every night this week, but I really don't have the stamina to maintain this pace anymore. You are supposed to be working smarter at my age, not harder. However, I'm feeling pretty relaxed right now. I just may have lost my ability to string a coherent thought together, and express it verbally.
